UBUNTU 18.10 “COSMIC CANIMAL” FIRST DAILY BUILDS HAS BEEN RELEASED
Introduction
First Build of Ubuntu 18.10 has been released on 3 May 2018. As we all know that Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Bionic Beaver had released on 28 April 2018. After a successful release of Ubuntu 18.04 now developers has started to working on it’s next release of Ubuntu i.e. Ubuntu 18.10. As per official announcement the Code name of this release would be “Cosmic Canimal” but the name is not yet fixed and may be they change it on it’s final release. The code name of every new Ubuntu release reveals by Mark Shuuttleworth So this time also we are waiting for the fixed official code name.

Ubuntu 18.04 was LTS i.e. Long Term Support release hence would get official support for next three years i.e. till 2021 but Ubuntu 18.10 is not a LTS and will get official support for next 9 months only.
This is the first daily build of Ubuntu 18.10. Hence most probably it is going to based on Ubuntu 18.04 only. The first build is just for testing purpose only to get feedback from users about bugs which will help developers to get it fixed on it’s final release. So we recommending to just install and use it for testing and don’t use for production.
As per current release notes two major changes would happen in Ubuntu 18.10 i.e. This version of Ubuntu may release with Linux Kernel Version 5.0 and Gnome Gnome 3.30.
As we already know that Ubuntu has stopped 32 Bit ISO image support from Ubuntu 17.10 which was released on 2017 and in Ubuntu 18.10 also they not going to create 32 ISO installation image but other flavors of Ubuntu i.e. Ubuntu MATE, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Kylin…etc will release both 32 Bit and 64 Bit of ISO installation image.
