RAMBOX – A SINGLE APP FOR ALL FREE MESSAGING APPS (MESSAGING SERVICES) AND FREE EMAIL SERVICES
Introduction
In this article we are going to learn How to install Rambox free messaging apps in Ubuntu 16.04. Rambox is a open source application allows to use all major messaging services like whatsapp, telegram…etc.. and free email services like gmail, outlook at one place. This is one of the best app for those people who uses multiple messaging apps and email services on daily basis as without this app you have to install all the required apps manually and have to use it by opening all the apps one by one in separate windows. Rambox messaging services app was developed by Ramiro Saenz and released under GNU GPL v3 license.

Follow the below steps to install Rambox free messaging apps (messaging services) and free email services
So now let’s go ahead and start the installation process of Rambox. Before start the installation let’s update the packages & repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.

After updating the packages & repositories now we have to download the rambox free messaging apps from official website. So use the below command to download the same.

Here I have already downloaded the Rambox messaging services deb package. Refer the output below.

Now we are ready to install the Rambox free email services package. So let’s go ahead and install the same using below command.

Errors were encountered while processing:

As you can see above the Rambox free messaging apps package asking for some dependencies to complete the installation process. So after installing the package just run the below command to install all required dependencies.

As you can see above we have successfully installed the Rambox messaging services app with all required dependencies. Now to confirm the same refer the below command.

Now to open the application just type the command rambox on shell prompt.

You can also open the Rambox free email services application graphically using Search your computer box. Refer the snapshot below.
To uninstall the Rambox free email services package use the below command.
elinuxbook@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -r rambox # Uninstall the Rambox Package
