HOW TO INSTALL VIVALDI BROWSER IN UBUNTU 16.04 – A BEST WEB BROWSER FOR LINUX

Introduction

In this article we are going learn How to install Vivaldi browser in Ubuntu 16.04. Vivaldi is a open source internet web browser used to browse internet & intranet websites. This application was developed using C++ programming language and released under Freeware license. It’s an best light weight user friendly application comes with various features mentioned below :

Follow the below steps to install Vivaldi browser in Ubuntu 16.04 – A Best web browser for Linux

First we have to download the Vivaldi browser package from official website. So use the below command to download the same.

Here I have already downloaded the .deb package. Refer the output below.

Before we start the installation of Vivaldi browser package let’s update packages & repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.

After update the packages & repositories now we are ready to install the Vivaldi web browser package. So let’s go ahead and install the same using below command.

As you can see above we have successfully installed the Vivaldi browser package. Now to open the application just type the command vivaldi on shell prompt. Refer the command below.
