HOW TO INSTALL SOUNDCONVERTER AUDIO CONVERTER APP IN UBUNTU 16.04 – A AUDIO FILE CONVERTER FOR LINUX
Introduction

The main developer and author of Soundconverter audio converter are Gautier Portet & Lars Wirzenius and released under GNU GPLv3 license. Here we are going to install latest version of Soundconverter Version 3.0.0 audio file converter in Ubuntu.

Before start the installation let’s update the packages and repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.

Now let’s go ahead and install Soundconverter Audio converter package using below command.

Now to open the Audio file converter application just type the command soundconverter on the shell prompt. Refer the command below.

You can change settings by going to Preferences like output file path, output file format..etc..Refer the snapshot below.

You can also open the Soundconverter application graphically using Search your computer box. Refer the snapshot below.
To uninstall the Soundconverter audio converter application you can use the below command.
