HOW TO INSTALL FREE DROPBOX BEST CLOUD STORAGE (ONLINE STORAGE) IN UBUNTU 16.04
Introduction

But if you need more space on cloud then you can upgrade to premium version of Dropbox plans as per your need and requirement.

Follow the below steps to install Free Dropbox Best cloud storage (Online Storage) in Ubuntu 16.04
Before start the installation we have to download the package of Dropbox best cloud storage from official website. You can use the below command to download the same.

Before installation update the packages and repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.

ii dropbox 2015.10.28 amd64 cloud synchronization engine - CLI and Nautilus extension
To open the Free Dropbox online storage application click on Search your computer box and just type dropbox. Refer the snapshot below.
For first time when you open the dropbox best cloud storage application it will download it’s supporting files from official website. So here just click on Ok to continue the installation.
As you can see on snapshot below the Free dropbox application is downloading. It will take some time to download all required contents. it’s totally depend on your internet speed.
After completion of download and installation the application will ask to restart the Nautilus, So click on the Restart Nautilus button. Refer the snapshot below.
After installation you will see a Dropbox icon on status bar. Refer the snapshot below. The Dropbox icon is highlighted in Blue color.
To store data on cloud using free dropbox best cloud storage you have to sign in first. So to Sign in right click on the dropbox icon and click on Sign in. Refer the snapshot below.
If you have not registered in dropbox then Sign up first. Here i already have dropbox email ID and password. to login. Refer the snapshot below.
For more common settings right click on Free dropbox icon and select Preferences.
