HOW TO INSTALL AMAROK MUSIC PLAYER IN UBUNTU 16.04 – A BEST LINUX MUSIC PLAYER
Introduction
In this article we are going to learn How to to install Amarok music player in Ubuntu 16.04. Amarok is a open source best Linux music player used to play music files & audio files. Amarok music player was initially developed by Mark Kretschmann using C++ programming language and released under GNU GPLv2 license. - Capable to show you the artist information’s (eg : Singer, Music Director, Album Name..etc..) of the song by taking it directly from internet.
- Change Meta information like singer name, album name and many more.
Follow the below steps to install Amarok music player in Ubuntu 16.04 – A best Linux music player
Before start the installation of Amarok music player let’s update the packages & repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.
elinuxbook@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get update # Update Packages & Repositories

After update the packages & repositories now we are ready to install the Amarok music player package. To do so we don’t have to install any 3rd PPA repository as it’s a part of default repository of Ubuntu 16.04. So to install the same refer the below command.
elinuxbook@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install amarok # Install Amarok best Linux music player Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... As you can see above we have successfully installed the Amarok music player package. To confirm the same refer the below command.
