FEDORA 26 RELEASED ON 11 JULY 2017 WITH NEW UPDATES AND FEATURES

Introduction

In this article we are going to discuss on latest released version of Fedora i.e Fedora 26. Fedora is one of the most popular Linux distrubution and my personal favorite. There is a good news for all fedora fans that Finally fedora has released it’s Final latest version of Server and Desktop operating system as a Fedora 26 on 11th July 2017 and available for download on official website of fedora. With new release it has come with new features and updates.

Fedora 26 Releases :

Fedora 26 first released the Beta version on 13th June 2017, Then released the Final Freeze on 27th June 2017 and Finally released the Final Version on 11th July 2017.

Here I have listed some major changes and new features of Fedora 26 :

• It’s came with latest Linux Kernel 4.11
• BIND DNS Server Package Version 9.11
• Python has been updated to 3.6
• GCC upgraded to 7.1
• One of the Major change is Fedora 26 came with GNOME 3.24
• PHP Version 7.1
• Ruby Version 2.4
• DNF package management application upgraded to Version 2.0
• GNU C Library upgraded to Version 2.25
• Boost Version 1.63
• Golang Version 1.8
• Cyrus IMAP Mail Server came with upgraded Version 3
