Follow the below steps to backup sticky notes in windows 7

You have to follow some 4 simple steps to take Backup sticky notes and restore that.

Open the Run dialogue box by pressing the Win+R button on your keyboard and type a directory path i.e. %AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes. After typing the path press ENTER.

After above step you will get a new window with a file named StickyNotes.snt. This is the database file of your sticky notes. So to Backup sticky notes just copy the StickyNotes.snt and paste on your backup hard drive or anywhere you want to take backup. That’s it.

Now let me also show you How to restore backed up Sticky notes database file.

So to restore your backed up sticky notes database file, once again go to the %AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes location through Run dialogue box and paste the backed up file i.e. StickyNotes.snt.

So you have successfully restore the sticky notes.
